Resources for Nonprofits

Community Connect Luncheons – In an effort to inspire innovative leadership and cultivate conversations about philanthropy, Hutchinson Community Foundation hosts a Community Connect Luncheon series for nonprofit staff and board members, as well as interested members of the larger community. We watch a TED Talk with ideas around a shared community challenge and then use the World Cafe model to engage in conversations about our local perspectives on the topic. A light lunch is provided.

Professional Development Workshops – Each summer, we offer a free professional development workshop for teams of nonprofit staff and board members on topics including fundraising, planned giving, board governance, and systems thinking. Our goal is to bring outside experts into the community to build the capacity of a large number of organizations and citizens around a shared educational need.

Grantwriting Technical Assistance Workshops – In advance of the Fund for Hutchinson grant cycle each year, we host technical assistance workshops to help potential applicants understand the Fund for Hutchinson application, process, and grantmaking priorities. We additionally offer some grantwriting tips to help with the Fund for Hutchinson application and other grantwriting efforts.
