Initiatives & Impact

Just like you, Hutchinson Community Foundation is passionate about making a difference in the Hutchinson and Reno County area.

We’ve been working for more than 30 years to bring changemakers together around pressing issues:

Identify Needs

We keep our ear to the ground for new areas of need, and we work to support them with grants from the Fund for Hutchinson.

Connect Donors

We connect our donors with these types of opportunities, so they can support issues that otherwise might not receive adequate funding.

Create Solutions

We work closely with nonprofits and other stakeholders to create innovative solutions to challenging problems, so our community benefits in the strongest way possible.

Areas of Focus

Early Childhood

Giving children a strong start—from birth—is one of the Foundation’s highest priorities. We make and manage grants that fund activities including social/emotional screening, parenting education and preschool programs.

Nonprofit Sustainability

Important community issues are being addressed through the work of our dedicated and knowledgeable local nonprofits. Hutchinson Community Foundation strives to be a connector, guide, and resource for these organizations.

Youth Philanthropy Council

For nearly 15 years, Hutchinson Community Foundation’s Youth Philanthropy Council has groomed Reno County’s next generation of philanthropists.
