The Legacy Society is a group of people passionate about Hutchinson and Reno County who want to help provide an ever-improving quality of life for generations to come. They have given $10,000 or more to an endowed fund while still living, or made a commitment at the end of life, to ensure our community will continue to thrive.
If you have included Hutchinson Community Foundation in your estate plans, please contact us so we may fully understand your intentions and recognize your generosity.
Maintaining and improving the community is at the core of why Legacy Society members give to Hutchinson Community Foundation.
In recognition of their generous gifts, Hutchinson Community Foundation is honored to make an annual gift in the name of the Legacy Society to a local organization or program.
Hutchinson and Reno County Sesquicentennial
In honor of our Legacy Society members, Hutchinson Community Foundation made gifts to the Reno County Museum and rural Reno County communities, including The Highlands, in support of the 150th Celebration, the all-Reno County mile-long block part held on Main Street in Hutchinson.
The Gift to Dream
The Gift to Dream is a $2,500 grant awarded each year from the Fund for Reno County Endowment to one area nonprofit organization in need of dedicated time and space to consider ways to better make progress on their missions. At UPLIFT 2024, the grant was given to NAMI Reno County in honor of the Legacy Society.
If you have designated Hutchinson Community Foundation in your estate plan and are not on this list, please let us know so that we may fully understand your charitable intentions and include you in upcoming Legacy Society activities and communications.
