Foundation CEO serving on Federal Reserve council

Aubrey Abbott Patterson, Hutchinson Community Foundation president and CEO, was among four leaders from across the region recently named to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City’s Community Development Advisory Council.

The CDAC was established in 2001 to provide bank leaders deeper knowledge of economic development challenges facing low- and moderate-income communities. Patterson and the other new members join an existing group of nine community, banking and labor leaders from Colorado, Kansas, western Missouri, Nebraska, northern New Mexico, Oklahoma and Wyoming.

Patterson has been with the community foundation for 15 years, the past 13 of those in her current role. She has served on the boards of the K-State Alumni Association, Hutchinson Rotary Club, Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, Hutchinson Housing Commission and the Kansas Association of Community Foundations. She is a graduate of Kansas State University and Indiana University’s Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.
