Hutchinson Community Foundation is pleased to invite staff, board members, and volunteers of community-based organizations serving Reno County to our summer Learning Community Series, part of our Nonprofit Strength Initiative. With this series, we aim to provide opportunities for professional development through peer learning and workshops with regional leaders in the field.
In the fast-paced and demanding world of nonprofit leadership, having a trusted thought partner can be transformative. Join us for an interactive workshop with Professional Certified Coach (PCC) Joyce McEwen Crane to explore the powerful tool of leadership coaching.
Have you ever wished for a confidential space to reflect on challenges, explore new possibilities, and develop actionable strategies? This workshop will demystify leadership coaching, providing clarity on what it is, what it isn’t, and when it’s the right tool for you and your organization. A key part of the workshop will be a live coaching demonstration, exposing participants to a tangible example of the coaching experience.

About Joyce McEwen Crane
Joyce serves a dual role at the Kansas Leadership Center as both director of learning and development, as well as leadership developer. She develops leadership and coaching programs for custom partners, serves as KLC’s director of coach training and chairs the Leadership Coach Intensive (one of her favorite weeks of the year). In addition to her work with KLC, she owns Resonance Coaching and Consulting with her husband, Alan.
She earned a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential from the International Coach Federation, with additional credentials from the Institute for Life Coach Training and the Functional Medicine Coaching Academy (health coaching). Her certifications include Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the EQi-2.0, the Immunity to Change model and Adam Grant’s PrinciplesYou personality assessment. She completed the Art and Practice of Leadership Development at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government Executive Education program and holds a Ph.D. in psychology from Southern Methodist University.
Lunch will be served. Advance registration is required by Sept. 2, for space is limited to 30 in each workshop. We encourage two people from each organization to come together for shared learning.
