Fund for Hutchinson grants awarded to 25 organizations

The Fund for Hutchinson was established by the founding Board of Directors as a
permanent resource for the changing needs of Reno County.

From bike trails and playscapes, to family stabilization and housing, this year’s grant recipients have one thing in common: passion for improving our community. Hutchinson Community Foundation is proud to announce recipients of 2012-2013 Fund for Hutchinson grants.

Some of the grants are small but mighty, while others are large and far-reaching.
Each represents an innovative approach or collaboration, a new efficiency for an established organization, a critical need that requires “just in time” funding, or an opportunity that needs just that bit of local support to leverage great resources for our community.

Investing in such a diverse range of projects is only possible through an unrestricted grantmaking fund. The Fund for Hutchinson application process enables Foundation representatives–board members, community representatives, and staff–to learn about innovative solutions and critical needs in our communities and to support the important work of a wide variety of nonprofit partners.
